Welcome to Our Holiday Club
The Holiday Club offers a convenient choice of either a 4.5‑hour or 9‑hour day for Thrapston Primary School children, giving families childcare that fits around their needs. Although it takes place on school grounds, the Holiday Club provides a true break from the normal routine. Children spend their day immersed in exciting opportunities to create, make, explore, and play—enjoying a wide range of fun, rewarding crafts, activities, and group games designed to keep them engaged, happy, and inspired throughout the day.
The Holiday Club opens bright and early at 8:00am and runs right through to 5:00pm, giving children a whole day of fun and families plenty of flexibility. Little adventurers can also choose a half‑day of excitement, with our morning session (8:00am–12:30pm) or afternoon session (12:30pm–5:00pm).
Mornings start with breakfast between 8:00 and 9:00am to fuel the fun, and later in the day children can enjoy a tasty afternoon snack between around 3:00 and 4:00pm. With yummy bites and lots of play, it’s the perfect recipe for a happy, energetic day!
Breakfast
Children will be offered a breakfast selection, which includes toast, a range of cereals, milk, and fresh fruit.
Lunch
All children attending will need to bring a packed lunch.
As we are an allergen-aware school with children who have severe allergies, we kindly ask that you do not include any nut products of any kind in your child’s lunch box. This helps us maintain a safe environment for all pupils.
Afternoon Snack
Children will be offered a small snack, with choices varying between waffles, pancakes, crumpets, toast and fruit. They will also have a selection of spreads such as honey and jam to accompany their snack.
Please note that this is not intended to be a meal, but a light snack to tide them over until their mealtime at home.
A fruit bowl is also regularly available.
