Curriculum Offer
A collaborative, evolving curriculum transforming lives: removing barriers and empowering confident, successful learners.
The Brooke Weston Trust Primary curriculum is an ambitious, collaboratively developed, evolving framework shaped by subject-specific experts and educators to meet the diverse and changing needs of our children and our communities.
Its mission is to transform educational outcomes by removing learning barriers and fostering personal growth, aiming to nurture confident, responsible, and successful young individuals. It incorporates the essential knowledge and skills set out in the National Curriculum and beyond.
We are passionate for our children to develop into engaged, interested and inspired learners who develop the knowledge and skills to ensure they are ready for the next stage of their educational journey and to contribute positively to the wider world.
Engaged
Children show resilience, enthusiasm, and a determination to overcome challenges and achieve their best. They actively participate in school and community life, celebrating both individuality and unity within the Trust.
Interested
Children develop a love of learning, strong reading skills, and the ability to think critically and creatively across different subjects. They learn independently and collaboratively, showing curiosity, open-mindedness, and problem-solving abilities.
Inspired
Children build self-worth and emotional wellbeing, enabling them to form positive relationships and make healthy lifestyle choices. They are optimistic, take initiative, and uphold values such as honesty, empathy, and respect.
Further Information About Our Curriculum
At our school, we are committed to keeping parents and carers fully informed about what their children are learning. Curriculum information for each year group can be found within the Year Group Information section of our website.
If you would like further information about the curriculum your child is studying, please contact your child's class teacher in the first instance. Alternatively, you may contact the school office, who will be happy to arrange for a member of staff to discuss the curriculum with you and answer any questions you may have.
We welcome the opportunity to work in partnership with parents and carers to support every child's learning and development.
