SUMMER CELEBRATION

Thrapston Primary School are holding their Summer Celebration this year on Friday 19th July. The fair will run between 1:00 pm and 4:00pm. This will be an opportunity for the children to display their work, demonstrate their skills and to perform throughout the afternoon. We would like to invite local businesses to join us on this day to advertise and sell their products as we did last year. If you think your products would appeal to our children and parents, we would love for you to join us.

Examples of businesses we are looking for: Cake sellers, toys, books, children’s clothing, craft stalls etc.

We are asking that you bring your own table and gazebo if needed. Whilst we will not be charging a specific amount for a pitch, we will be asking for donations which will go towards future activities for the children.

If you are interested, please contact LPeet@thrapston.net. We will require a copy of your company public liability insurance by Wednesday 26th June 2024. If your business requires a risk assessment then we will also need to have a copy of this sent to us.

You will be able to access the field to set up during the morning from 11am onwards but no vehicles will be able to access the site after 11:45am due to movement of children through lunchtime.

TAMHS AWARD

As a school we believe the mental health and wellbeing of all our stakeholders to be paramount and as such we continue to reflect on, review and develop the support we are able to offer to everyone within our school community.

We have continued to work with Northamptonshire Targeted Mental Health in Schools (TaMHS) to ensure we are providing the best programmes and the latest approaches to meet the needs of all children.

In April 2021, we were proud to receive our Bronze and Silver TaMHS Award. Since then, we have been working towards the TaMHS Gold Award and are in the process of collating evidence from children’s work and parent/carer feedback for our portfolio of evidence, reflecting our commitment to children’s mental health and wellbeing.
