At TPS pupils celebrate Switch Off Fortnight from Monday 19th November,

with activities to save energy at home and in school

Thrapston Primary  is working on EDF Energy’s education programme The Pod to take part in Switch Off Fortnight this month, from the 19th to the 30th November. More than 1,500 schools across the UK are joining in the action.

Over the fortnight, students will learn about sources of energy, focusing on saving energy at school by running an energy audit and identifying where energy is wasted. All the activities are designed to get young people to think about the ways they use energy, as well as sparking an early interest in science and engineering.
