We are calling for some help from our lovely school community for the next stage of our forest school project here at TPS. We would like to erect a fence around our trees to protect them and to also create a safe, contained area for the children to explore freely during their forest school sessions. We are looking for recommendations of anyone who would be able to provide fencing for us similar to the photos provided. Many thanks in advance for your help!

We are launching a Daily Mile 'Fit for Life' summer challenge at Thrapston Primary School! Over the next two summer terms, we would like as many children as possible to take part in the Daily Mile and move their bodies a mile each day! This mile can be walked or ran, and can be completed either at school or at home. The children will be able to tick off each day they have completed in their booklets, and at the end of each week they can get a signature from either a parent or a teacher. For each week completed, the children will be able to claim both a House Point and a Dojo Point! Further information is inside the booklets, but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing as many children as possible being active each day and working towards a shared goal of earning points for their House! We would like to say a huge congratulations to Frankie in Year 5 who completed his challenge yesterday and successfully reached the summit of Snowdon in just 2 hours and 15 minutes!! This is a fantastic accomplishment and Frankie battled some strong winds at the top! He has so far raised £800 which is an incredible amount of money for our school and will benefit all of our pupils immensely. There is still time to donate if you would like to. We are so proud of Frankie in Year 5 who has decided to take on a big challenge to raise some money to purchase new footballs and playground equipment for the children at Thrapston Primary School. Frankie will be climbing Snowdon this Saturday on 5th April 2025. If you are able to donate anything then we would be extremely grateful. The money raised will benefit all of our pupils.
