English - To use dashes to show parenthesis.

We are beginning our own version of The Highwayman. Our highwayman is going to rob a royal carriage and get caught by the red-coats. Today we looked at how to use dashes to add extra information to our sentences about the highwayman and his horse.

Follow the lesson on the PPT.

Maths - To find the area and perimeter of rectilinear shapes.

We have been looking at how we find area and perimeter again. Can you remember how to do both?

Science - To investigate how light can be reflected.

In Science we discussed what being shiny meant and how we could use a mirror to see behind us, or round corners. We then explored how we could make light change direction.
