National Curriculum objective – revisiting sketching and improving our work

Today in art  we want to see your imaginations run wild and explore sketching an imaginary beast . We will be looking at the style of Rob Biddulph who is a bestselling award-winning children's book author and illustrator. His picture books include Blown Away, GRRRRR! and Odd Dog Out.. He won the Waterstones Children's Book Prize in 2015. He has a unique style and technique. You can watch any of his video’s and draw along at the same time, we then want you to improve your sketch by revisiting the techniques used and seeing where you can improve them. Once you have done this we would like you to create your own imaginary beast using the same style and technique. We can wait to see what you can up with.
