Year 5 Commendations and Confetti Winners 14.05.21

Here are the details of the awards for commendations and confetti for Year 5. Once again it was lovely to meet up virtually as a whole key stage assembly for the children to share their achievements and to get an insight into the learning that is happening in other year groups. It was also great for Mrs Turner to join us, so she could see all the wonderful work (both our academic achievements and acts of kindness) happening throughout the key stage.

In Tanner class, Oliver and Bethany received the commendation award for their brilliant paired work in maths. The confetti award was given to Poppy who is an absolute all round superstar and a brilliant role model for the rest of the class.

In Banksy class the commendation award went to Alfie and Oliver who are simply amazing at everything from selecting the right challenge for themselves, to always making sure they present their work to the best of their ability.  The confetti award went to Tyler-James for working so hard to make a new class member so welcome and supporting him to feel at ease in his new school.

In Cliff class the commendation was awarded to Eliette and Nathan for developing their partner work and producing a fantastic poem together. The confetti award this week went to Chloe, for constantly being helpful to everyone in the classroom and always displaying her impeccable manners!
