Welcome back Year Five! We hope you all had a lovely half term! Check out your learning for today.
In English, we will be focusing on the features of newspaper reports. Using the Power Point and online newspaper attached, complete the tasks to learn more about the layout of this type of chronological report.
In Maths today, we will be revisiting fractions and exploring how fractions can be represented in different ways. See how you get on with the questions in the Power Point before choosing your challenge level. Remember to move on when you feel ready to.
To keep your rapid recall of number facts up to speed we have attached a separate 10-minute maths challenge for you to complete today. As normal, pick your level of challenge, attempting to move on when able. Today’s tasks requires you to practise you mental addition- no column method please.
Last term, we were learning about religions throughout the UK in our Religious Education lessons. Today, we will be focusing on Sikhism and the key beliefs within the religion. Follow the Power Point, before attempting the task. It may help to make some notes as you listen.
