Year 5 learning for Wednesday 10th February
Please find attached the learning tasks for Wednesday: Maths, English, Art and P.E.
In Maths, we will be consolidating your learning from yesterday, applying your knowledge of formal methods to increasingly complex word problems. Either continue to practise the level that you were working at yesterday or maybe try to challenge yourself to a new colour level. Just remember to check calculations thoroughly and answer in full.
In English, we will continue to explore the poem 'The Jabberwocky' looking a little more closely at the main events within the narrative poem. We will then go on to apply your inference and comprehension skills with today's attached task. For an additional challenge, you could choose to try to create a detailed illustration to go with one of the creatures from the poem.
In Art, we will be exploring the work of Paul Klee. Take a look at the slides attached before using the link below to recreate your own Paul Klee style picture.
Below is the next link to the Fiesta sports P.E. lesson for you to try out. You are always welcome to check out the Joe Wickes online sessions too or maybe even create an obstacle course in your garden- just as long as you are all keeping active and safe!
We look forward to seeing what you have been up to.
