Happy New Year from Year 5
Here are all the detailsto get everyone learning over the next few weeks!
For some of you, you will be continuing your learning at home this half term. We will miss seeing you all back in class but we are looking forward to seeing you on our daily online learning sessions. These will be at 9.00 am - 10.30 am each day, starting on Thursday 7th January. Parents will be emailed on Wednesday, using the email address we sent your reports to, inviting you to a 'TEAMS' meeting.
In each online session, we will revisit any previous learning, to give you an opportunity to show what you have been up to. We will then introduce the Maths and English lesson for the day. We will also give you details of further activities that will be available on the Blog for you to complete later in the day. This should take you at least 3 hours per day, including the session online. You will be expected to complete the Maths, English and one other directed task everyday.
If you don't have access to a camera, microphone, computer or you can not get online at 9 o'clock, don't panic! The same learning will be posted on to the blog for your to access after each live session.
We would really like to see what you have been up to when completing the work set on the Blog. Try to get a grown up to photo/ email the work you have done to your class teacher. Please ask grown ups to give permission if you would like us to share your work via the Blog Gallery. We will be in touch with parents weekly to check up on how you are getting on.
Some of you may be back in school as part of a bubble tomorrow and your grown ups will have been in touch with Mrs Turner. We look forward to seeing you in person and just wanted to let you know that you will be working with one of the Year Five adults, throughout each day.
We look forward to speaking to all of you and seeing all of the wonderful work you produce!
