Y4 Work Tasks for Friday 5th February

English and Maths tasks Friday 4th February.

Good morning Year 4

Welcome to Friday - nearly at the weekend!

The answer to yesterday's quiz question was George Washington. Today's question is... if you look at the picture above, you will see a famous wall that separates England and Scotland. What is the name of this wall?

Today we will start with our random times table test.

As we mentioned on Wednesday, this week is Mental Health Week and we said we were going to talk about the importance of good mental health and the need to able to express ourselves. We are going to combine these themes with the poetry elements we have studied this week and create an acrostic poem on the importance of good mental health.

In Maths we will be calculating quantities.

Blue challenge will be to calculate quantities involving unit fractions only.

Green challenge will be to find quantities involving non-unit fractions.

Finally, the white challenge will be to find quantities, involving non-unit fractions and the use of related facts.

We gave you the link earlier in the week for JJs PE lesson. In case you did not do it, here it is again -

We have also attached next week's spelling lists for you to learn.

Once again, if you have any issues, please feel free to email us.

Have a great weekend.
