Year 4 update (05.06.20)

Hello everyone! Due to having more children in school from next week, we will be making some changes to our home learning. From next week (08.06.20) we will be setting work on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Each blog will contain a maths, English and topic task. We will continue to set weekly spellings.

Alongside these tasks, please encourage your child to read at least five times a week. They can read different types of texts – books, magazines, recipes and anything that they will enjoy!

Please feel free to decide how is best to manage these tasks at home, not each task needs to be completed on the day it is set and if you have some different learning tasks you would like to complete that is also absolutely fine! We are also aware that families have a lot to juggle so please just do as much as you can.

Mrs Siwiak-Denney and Mr Woodcock will be teaching in school so Mrs Bromley has joined the Year 4 team to help with the online learning. If you need us to clarify anything with the learning tasks, please don’t hesitate to contact Mr Jones or Mrs Bromley.

The year 4 class teachers love seeing what your child has been doing. So, if you can, please send us some emails with their work attached or with some photos of what they have done. Please let us know if you would like us to upload any photos onto the year 4 gallery on the school website.

Have a good weekend,

 The Year 4 Team
