On Tuesday, your child be planning their recount. The recount will be about a day at home - any day at home! It needs to be in past tense and first person. The picture goes in the top box and your writing goes in the box underneath.
If your child normally does yellow, then they need to verbally order the events of their day to an adult – they should draw the pictures on the yellow sheet, then talk through each picture with an adult. If your child normally does blue, they need to record the main events of their day in chronological order using the blue planning sheet with 8 event boxes. If your child normally does green, they need to include time words in their plan, on the green sheet. If your child normally does white, then they need to plan their writing on the black and white planning sheet with 12 event boxes, making sure that the events are in chronological order.

Maths - introduced in the live lesson
On Tuesday, we will be continuing with division. The children will be making sure that they understand how to calculate a division statement using grouping and sharing.
Blue activity – using the cards with blue dots on, the children will use practical apparatus to share/divide the bigger number into the correct number of groups to find the answer. They will then match the correct answers with the questions.
Green is the same as blue, except we expect the children to draw out the groups and share/divide on paper to find and match the answers.
White activity – use all blue and green questions and count in 2s, 5s, 10s, 3s etc as appropriate to solve the division and then match answers and questions.
