Reading Comprehension

This term, we are going to be learning how to write quest stories. This week’s reading comprehension is a quest story ‘Back to Earth with a Bump’. This was read to the children in Monday's live session, and there is a narrated version on Monday's blog.  Please read the text and answer the questions in full sentences.

If your child usually does Blue work in school, they should do the 1 star; if they usually do the Green work in school, they should do the 2 star; and if they usually do the White work, then they should do 2 stars.

Windmill Project

Continuing from Monday's work make sure your windmill body is ready to build upon.

We will be adding our roof to our windmill. Look back at your design and add your extra detail onto whatever you have chosen to be your roof. Once you have added these on, attach or stick your roof onto your windmill and check that it is beginning to look like your windmill design. Have your windmill ready to add the turbine on Wednesday.
