Y2 Goodbye Message

Our final message before the summer holidays.

Hello Year 2 families,

This is our final message before the summer holidays.

We hope you are all enjoying receiving your small gifts - if you haven't got one yet, yours will be with you soon.

All of us adults wanted to say something… so we have all written you a message:

How we have loved to be your teachers,

How fast the year did go!

Please come back to visit us

As through the years you grow.

Try hard to learn all you can

There is so much to know!

The one thing we tried to teach you

To last your whole life through,

Is to know that you are special

Just because you are you!

Hello Hedgehogs and Squirrels!

I just wanted to say how lucky I've been to teach you all this year, and so many of you for the second time.  It has been wonderful to see how much you have all grown.

In all my years of teaching, there has never been one like this! That will always make you such a special year group, one I doubt I'll ever forget!

You have all been fantastic, trying so hard to keep learning at home in some of the strangest circumstances. It has been wonderful keeping in touch with so many of you, although I have really missed being with you in school.

This isn't the goodbye we would have all hoped for, but I want you to know that I am so very proud of you and I can't wait to see you again in September.

I hope you have a wonderful Summer, take care and stay safe.

Lots of love from,

Mrs Evans x

Dear Squirrels and Hedgehogs,

I hope you have all enjoyed yourselves at home, spending extra time with your families.

School has been very quiet with only a few of you allowed to come in, I have missed seeing your smiling faces and hearing about your activities.

It has been great to see all the amazing work you have been doing and talking to some of you on videochats.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone in September, after we have enjoyed our summer holiday.

Love from

Mrs Strong

Hello Hedgehogs and Squirrels

First of all, I would like to say how wonderful you all are.

I have really missed seeing you all in school.

I have been amazed by all the wonderful activities you have taken part in and the work you have completed during home learning.

It has certainly been a year to remember and I will always remember what stars you have been.

Please enjoy your summer holiday and I will see you in September.

Stay happy and keep safe.

Love from

Mrs McMurdo

To all the lovely Hedgehogs and Squirrels,

I can’t believe it’s been 16 weeks since we were altogether! I have missed all your smiley, happy faces but I have loved looking at the photos of all the amazing work you have been doing at home. You are all SUPERSTARS!!!

I hope you are able to have a lovely summer holiday with your family and friends and I’ll look forward to seeing you all in September,

Take care, keep safe and most importantly keep smiling! 😊

Hello Hedgehogs and Squirrels,

I have really missed all of you very much the last few months. Your class teachers will be very sad when you move ‘up’ to Year 3. But, I will be moving to Year 3 with you.

I hope you will all enjoy your summer holiday and I am already looking forward to September when we can all be together again.

Love Mrs K

Hello Year 2,

What a strange year…  filled with lots of different emotions, but I will never forget: building cardboard houses; visits from the fire brigade; making pasta salads; going to Bengal Spice; visiting the church at Christmas; our fantastic Christmas play; the Christmas party; lots and lots of learning; making clay models; making fabric faces; learning the Great Fire of London dance; looking for bugs… and lots, lots more!

I will also, always, be really proud of this year group for how you have worked at home. You have been creative, imaginative and hard working. I have loved every email and picture that I have been sent. Parents, you have really awesome children; children, you have really awesome parents!

I look forward to seeing you all in September, but for now relax, put your feet up and enjoy not having to think about schoolwork for a few weeks.

Love from,

Miss Beasley xx
