Children can use the planning document attached as a guide for planning their diary entry. This should be completed in pictures or single words as we will be writing out the diary entry in full sentences over the next couple of days.
Maths-
LO: To be able to measure length in cm using a ruler.
I can measure one end of an object starting at 0cm.
I can record length in cm.
I can draw lines to match length in cm accurately.
I can compare length in centimetres.

Main: Play measuring game. Discuss that 1 end of the object must be in line with the 0cm and the other send will be in line with a number on the ruler which will tell us how long the object is in centimetres or cm for short. You should have been emailed the link for the live session for your child’s group. If you do not have this then please contact their class teacher and they will send you the correct link as each link is different for each group.
