Tasks:
Yellow – Say things that the wombat did. This might still be in the format of – ‘The wombat ate carrots.’
Blue – Say things the wombat did, as if they are the wombat (you may wish to make the wombat mask attached may help get into character.) So this might be – ‘I ate carrots’.
Green – Write sentences as if they are the wombat. This might be – ‘I ate carrots.’ Children could extend this by using their days of the week from the task earlier in the week, so ‘On Wednesday I ate carrots.’
White – Write sentences as if they are the wombat. Building on the Green sentences and using ‘and’ to join two sentences. This might be – ‘On Wednesday I ate carrots and I slept’

Following on from our Internet Safety activity before half term please watch episode 3 with your child at this link: https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/jessie-and-friends-videos/
Please take the opportunity to talk about whether children have had similar experiences and what they might do if something like this happened to them. The Jessie & Friends messages always reinforce that if children are ever worried or unsure about anything they see online they should talk to a trusted adult.
Attached to the blog are also some activities you might like to do after watching and discussing the video.
