LO: To be able to write the days of the week.

Yellow – Match the story picture with a day of the week.
Blue – Write a day of the week next to the picture from the story.
Green – Look at the diary entries (minus the day) and children write in the correct day of the week.
White – Children should have completed the ‘Green’ activity first. Then answer the questions by writing the correct day of the week. (Using their ‘green’ diary entries to help.)

Find a pencil, a spoon and a toy order them from shortest to tallest.
Find a piece of fruit, a piece of paper and a cup. Order them from the tallest to shortest.
Blue
Look around your house and garden for objects that are taller than a can.

What was the shortest object you found?

L.O: To be able to understand the difference between being healthy and unhealthy and to know some ways to keep myself healthy.
This term we will be focusing on being healthy. There is a link to Cosmic yoga this week, to enjoy before our time for reflection. Today’s lesson we will be thinking about what the difference is between being healthy and unhealthy and choices that we make. There is also a cutting and sticking healthy lunchbox activity to complete.

Music-.
This term we will be exploring some different types and styles of Music to develop our listening skills. We will be giving our opinion on what we hear, exploring patterns and sequences in sound and changes in pitch and volume. Today’s lesson looks at a new song, in a different style. We will be trying a few new warm up games and using our voices to perform verse one.
