English –  

LO: To be able to identify the features of a missing poster.

I know a missing poster is for lost things.

I know a missing poster needs a picture.

I know that a missing poster includes as description.

I can identify features of a missing poster and identify which are most useful.

Task:

Identify the different features of a missing poster.  You may do this alongside the video, or you may wish to look at the examples of missing posters to do this afterwards in more detail. 

Yelllow – you may want to get an adult to write down your ideas.

Blue, Green, White – You can all record your own ideas.

Your child should know which group they go to for phonics. If they are unsure, please contact us and we will let you know.  Below are the sounds that the children can practice next using some of the links below.

Activity: Make a cut-out of an animal and colour it with markings so that it camouflages into the colour of your room or garden.

What are two ways an animal can blend into its environment?

Task: To use a video recording device that you have available to practice making short videos.  Re-watch them and check the quality, what could you do next time to improve them.  You could video yourself going through the steps of your healthy recipe as a practise, however you do not need to actually make your healthy recipe this week!

Remember the tips for keeping it still and filming in landscape. 

Remember you must always have permission from people to film them too.
