Here are the Year 1 tasks for Tuesday 2.2.21.

English – Live Online session 9:00 – 10:30

LO: To be able to spell the days of the week.

Name and order the days of the week.

Use capital letters.

Spell most days of the week correctly in a sentence.

Spell all the days of the week correctly in a sentence.

Tasks:

Yellow – Use the sequencing days of the week activity attached to the blog to order the days of the week.

Blue – Use the pictures attached to the blog.  Choose one and write the day of the week they did it.

You don’t need to print them, you could always draw the picture yourself to label with the days of the week or just write the days of the week and talk about which activity they are doing.

 

Green/White – Use the pictures attached to the blog and write sentences to show what they did on which days. (The order of the story isn’t important here, it’s more the spelling of the days of the week, so don’t worry if the events are out of sequence.)

Music -  This week we will be looking and listening to songs in the Latin style.  We will be giving our own opinion on today’s style of music and using our bodies to find the pulse of the songs that we explore. Today we will be singing back to small rhythms and sounds and performing again at the end of the session.  Remember if you want to send any videos in of your child singing or moving to the pulse, you’re welcome to.
