The story pictures document is attached below.  You don’t need to print these off, simply have them handy to look at while you are writing.

Tasks:

Yellow/Blue – Choose one picture.  Write feeling words to describe your chosen picture.  If you would like to you can do the same for another picture.  Or if you found that easy you can challenge yourself to write a sentence. (Green challenge)

Green – Choose one picture.  Write some feeling words to describe that part of the story.  Then write your feeling word/words into a sentence.  Repeat with another sentence for the same picture or choose another one.  If you would like a further challenge see White.

White – Choose one picture.  Write feelings words to describe that part of the story.  Then write a sentence describing the boy’s feelings in this part of the story using a conjunction such as ‘and’ or ‘because’.

 

Maths – L.O. To be able to subtract by counting back.

I can record subtraction number sentences.

I can solve subtraction problems.
