Here are the Year 1 tasks for Wednesday 20.1.21

Maths – Live Online session 9:00 – 10:30

LO: To be able to find and make number bonds.

I can create number bonds using tens frames.

I can complete number bonds to 20 by using number bonds to 10.

I can identify number bonds to 20.


Starter: Play number bonds to 10 game ‘Save the whale’  

Main: Use teaching video to help support the learning of finding and making number bonds to 10 and 20  .Explain that number bond to 20 follow the same pattern as number bonds to 10.

English –

L.O. To be able to use adjectives.

Know what an adjective is.

Use adjectives to describe appearance and touch.  

Record adjectives in sentences.

Use ‘and’ to join ideas.

Computing -  

This is suggested by the unit as useful resources.  You may have other software that works on devices at home better.  You may not have something you can edit with, which is fine.  The main purpose is to introduce algorithms (sequence of instructions) and use of camera recording.

LO: To be able to work out an algorithm.

I know the steps needed.

I can sequence them correctly.
