DT – L.O: To create a simple structure.
Today’s lesson involves making a simple structure that will stand and hold together.
1. Watch video for guidance on how to make a simple structure: https://safeshare.tv/x/orOThk8xtGQ#
2. Print out the templates, if possible, decorate them and assemble according the video instructions. If you don’t have access to a printer, you can make your own simple structure with a roof out of recycling materials.
PHSE -
L.O: To be able to set a small goal and work out how to achieve it.
Today’s lesson is all about thinking back to the small goals that we set last week and working out how to achieve them. Children are to think about or plan how they are going to achieve their goals. For example, if they want to learn to skip, they might want to practise jumping on the spot first, then practise jumping and moving your arms in a skip like motion and lastly adding the rope.
There is a monster meditation activity to try at home too.
