Know what an adjective is.

Use appropriate adjectives to describe.
Record adjectives in sentences.
Use ‘and’ or ‘because’ to join ideas.

Please see the attached document for the phonics tasks, which will last for the week. You can do these daily to repeat them or spread them out across the week once the sound has been introduced.
Science –
LO: To be able to identify a polar habitat and some of the animals that live there.
I know that a habitat is where plants and animals live.
I can locate the Arctic and the Antarctic.
I can name polar animals.
I can research more details about a particular polar animal.

- Answer the quiz by scrolling down again.
- Use one of the polar animals mentioned in the clip to research creating a small fact file.
- Find out what that animal eats and why?
Carnivore- eats only meats
Herbivore- eats only plants
Omnivore- eats both meat and plants.
- Is the animal a fish, bird, Mammal?
- How does the animal survive in the cold/ snowy/ icy conditions? E.g Sharp claws for extra grip on the ice.

Computing -
LO: To be able to identify and use letter keys on the keyboard.
This is a fun and optional activity that you might like to try. It is really good for helping to locate the letter keys on the keyboard as well as supporting with typing skills. This will only work on a device with a space bar accessible when you open the link to use it, so may depend on your phone or tablet as to whether you can make it work there.
