Y1 Seasons and Weather

In Geography we have been learning about the different seasons.
We have been listening to lots of songs to help us learn about the seasons and the order that they come in the year:
We have been using the clues in nature and the weather to help us work out what season we think we are in. The children have decided that we are in Autumn at the moment as there are red, orange and yellow leaves, there are conkers and acorns and the leaves falling to the ground. It is also windy at the moment too. Can the children tell you what season is coming next? What clues should we look out for?
You can always take the seasons quiz here for some extra practice: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=fiDNEDlpBk-0erhWWvuydVXt6K2G2LpHg5TgWBuI6GJUM1k0MVcwTlNEMDI4WFBKNU42RVcxV1BFMi4u
Next week we will also be talking more about the weather, perhaps you could make observations about the weather and changes at home over the coming week.
