Thrapston

Primary School

The summer term is here!

We are thoroughly enjoying being out in the sun at school at the moment but would like to remind you of a few things.

Please send your child to school with a named drink (preferably water) and a sun hat, also with a name in. Your child would also benefit from sun cream being applied before they come to school in the morning as we are often out and about throughout the school day.

However, we are also aware that living in England there is always the possibility of drizzle or a downpour so a light raincoat is also advisable.

It is lovely to see the children in their summer uniform - red checked dresses, or black school shorts are an acceptable option. Please do not send your child to school in open toed sandals for safety reasons, school shoes should still be being worn.

Now many more children are bringing in a packed lunch from home please can we ask that you contact Gail in the kitchen to let her know you do not require a school lunch, as a lot of food is being ordered and going to waste.

We have a lot of fun activities planned for this term so keep your eyes open for further updates and information.
