Rec - Money, music and a new writing challenge

Hi everyone,

We hope that you are all safe and well.

Here are is a new set of challenges for this week before half term

This week we have a new funky song for us all to listen to and think about what it makes us want to do or how it makes us feel.

The song for this week is Pick up the pieces by Average White band. Think about how this song makes you feel or what it reminds you of.

Ask a grown up to take a picture of you dancing and send it to Mrs Wesby or Mr North, we would love to see some funky moves.

For Maths this week, the challenge is related to money. First see how many of our different coins and notes you can remember, see if you could find any of the coins in your house and put them in order from smallest to largest amount. You could turn this into a scavenger hunt for money hidden in the house, trace around them and make your own paper money or any of your own ideas related to money.

For the English challenge this week, we all know how much you all have been missing your friends, teachers, and school since you have been at home. So, to start thinking about coming back to school or things you are looking forward to why not have a go at writing about some thing you miss about school and then write about what you are excited about when coming back to school. Have a go at writing these ideas as sentences or a list with bullet points, take a picture of your work and then send it to Mrs Wesby or Mr North on the ILD.

Here's hoping we see you all soon, you need anything please feel free to contact Mrs Wesby or Mr North
