Nursery Home Learning Update 31st March 2020

Hello everyone,

We hope you are all well and are enjoying the lovely sunshine (although it is a little sporadic!).

Here are a few learning ideas that you could complete during this next week.

  1. Make a rainbow! – use your imagination and be as creative as you like. You could you use: pens, pencils, paint, collage materials, chalk outside or different coloured toys arranged in a rainbow shape, for example. These can be displayed in your windows for other children to see. To see some examples, you could look at the school website rainbow gallery page, or our own nursery rainbow gallery here.
  2. Go on a walk in the sunshine or a scavenger hunt (this could be done in your garden). Before you go, you could think of some things you would like to find. For example, flowers, trees, a stick, animals etc. You could draw some pictures of these objects on a piece of paper, and take it out with you to tick them off as you find them. Alternatively, you could draw a picture of the things you found when you get home.
  3. Have your sunflower and broad beans started to grow? Can you draw a picture or send us a photo of how they are getting on. You could also use a ruler or measuring tape to see how tall they have grown.

We are continuing checking the ILD/email and can see that you have been doing lots of fantastic learning at home, please continue to send these wonderful updates to us.

Take care,

The Nursery Team.
