It is time for the Nursery children to learn another rhyme and the last one of this term.

We hope you had lots of fun learning the previous nursery rhyme ‘Tommy Thumb’, we could tell from all of the wiggly and bendy fingers that you have been practising at home, so thank you for your continued support.
This week, as we move on learning about Autumn, we would like you to learn the rhyme ‘Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’. The tune and some suggested actions can be found here.

When all the cows were sleeping
And the sun has gone to bed
Up jumps the scarecrow
And this is what he said
I'm a dingle, dangle scarecrow
With a floppy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And I can shake my feet like that
When all the hens are roosting
And the moon is behind a cloud
Up jumps the scarecrow And shouts out very loud
I'm a dingle, dangle scarecrow
With a floppy floppy hat
I can shake my hands like this
And I can shake my feet like that
This is the last rhyme of the term, so we hope you have lots of fun with it. We will continue with new rhymes after the half term break.
