Nursery Tadpole and Sunflower update 5th June 2020

Mrs Melville has kindly sent through some more photos of the growing tadpoles and sunflower!

The tadpoles now all have legs and are called Froglets at this point in their life cycle. Their tails will eventually disappear, as they become young frogs. They are very active and some look like frogs already!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is a picture of our lovely pond area – as you can see the water lilies are beginning to flower.

 

The nursery sunflower is thriving! It is now 135cm tall and has big green leaves all over it.

 

 

An update about the pigeons in the nursery playground. The young pigeon has now fledged and the mother pigeon has left the nest.
