Christmas gifts for children in hospital.

Our amazing School Councillors have been collecting presents for children in Kettering and Peterborough hospitals. They have been busy making posters to advertise what they were doing and to ask for donations from all the children in school. Mandy and Jenny from Morrisons came to talk to them about what should and shouldn't go in the boxes. Then they wrapped shoe boxes and sorted all the gifts and wrote Christmas messages.

At the last count they made up over 30 gift boxes to go to the children in hospital.

Yesterday, Mandy and Jenny came to collect the boxes to take to hospital and rewarded the school councillors for their hard work with a chocolate stocking.

The School Councillors would like to say thank you to all who sent in donations and a big thank you to Miss Porch for giving them the idea and letting us do all the sorting and wrapping in Nursery.
