Springtime at Nursery
Before school closed, we planted a range of seeds and blubs. The sunflower seeds and broad beans went home with you, but we kept some at nursery too. Mrs Melville popped into school to check on how they were getting on, and has kindly taken some photos to share with you all.
She also took some photos of the tadpoles, which have hatched from the frogspawn that we caught last term. The worms that went into our homemade wormery, which some children helped Mrs Melville to make, have now been put back safely in the garden.
There are photos of potatoes growing in the sacks, bluebells, tulips and daffodils in the flowerpots and beds, Mrs Melville’s sunflower and wallflowers in the tubs on the benches.
