This year’s Northamptonshire Mental Health in Children Awareness Day is on Friday 11th February. This year’s theme is “IT’S THE INSIDE THAT MATTERS,” which is to remind us all that unlike physical health, you cannot always see when someone’s mental health needs help or support. Sometimes, how someone looks and how they might present themselves to the outside world is not really how they are feeling.

To help promote this year’s theme, on Friday 11th February, everyone is invited to come in to school in mufti along with an item of clothing worn inside out. This could be anything from a sock to a jumper or your entire outfit. Together we can show young people they are not alone with their mental health and remind people that it’s okay to ask for help and support.
