Primary School

End of November!

Be prepared to enter a mysterious and terrifying world...

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been exploring the beautiful, natural features of Quetico Provincial Park, in our English work. In addition to describing the beauty and majesty of the park, we’ve been re-telling the tale of Francis Brandywine and her night-time voyage across the deepest, darkest lake. The children have produced some wonderful, atmospheric writing, which we’re all very proud of!

In addition, we’ve been learning about Natural Selection & Charles Darwin, in Science and drawing, describing and measuring 2d shapes and angles in Maths. There has even been a little bit of time for us to learn about the types of foods that the ancient Maya ate.
