  • Money week in Year 3!

    Over the past two weeks, the children have been learning all about money. To help us get started, we got some coins out and identified which coins were which. This helped us when we started adding the cost of different items together. We have also learnt how to find change by using both the column subtraction and number line methods.

    As we reach the end of another busy week in Farah Class. Well done to our achievers in Farah class this week, Amelie is our Behaviour Model of the week, voted for by the class, Georgina earnt Learner of the Week thanks to her hard work and perseverance in everything she does and Jack will get the commendation award next Friday for working so hard and really trying to improve in all areas. In addition Jacob got to display the wonderful science work he produced on rocks and where they can be found!

    Lots of the Stone Age homework is now up on display in our Year Three corridor and we hope you agree it is looking fabulous. In addition, the work the children completed over the summer has been shared in our history lessons, showing how their work supports their learning in school.
