This week, we had an Indian Experience Day. The children took part in a variety of activities and had a fantastic time!
First of all, we completed a range of activities in our classroom. We coloured rangoli patterns, drew Indian symbols and created henna designs.
After that, we took part in a dance class. We listened to the story of Diwali and then learnt some Indian dance moves. We then put everything together and performed our dance as a class. We all got dressed up in bright colours, which looked brilliant!
In the afternoon, we went to the Bengal Brasserie. We took over the whole restaurant and were served a selection of Indian food. Most of us tried something new and really enjoyed the different dishes.
All of the children were fantastic and had a great time!
