Out and About

Planning some fieldwork...

The children have worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks, learning to write recounts in english about a few different experiences, applying reasoning skills to problems involving one more and one less  in maths and learning how to makes prints and create patterns with print in art.

Next week we will begin planning a visit to 'Peace Memorial Park' in Thrapston as part of our geography unit. We will be taking part in some simple field work to study the key human and physical features that we find there.

In order to carry out our learning there, we will need lots of egg boxs (6 x egg size preferably), with the aim of us being able to give one to each child. Please can you bring in any egg boxes you can between now and Thurs 7th Feb? Each child will also need a named carrier bag so that they can transport their equipment to and from the park with ease.

If you would be available to come and support us on this visit, taking place throughout the morning of Thursday 7th February, and have a valid DBS check then please put your name forward to the class teachers and we will confirm nearer the date.

Many thanks in advance for your wonderful and continuing support!
