New term + new Tadpoles = Fun Fun Fun!!
A new school year is upon us and the new Tadpoles (aka Nursery children) are finding their feet!
I can hardly believe that a year has passed since I last wrote about the new Tadpole children settling in and here we are again, already making new friendships, learning new names, new routines and new ways to have fun!
The children are already beginning to settle in beautifully and, as you can see from the above photograph, have experienced staying for lunch club for the first time today! Considering it was a much busier "first-ever lunch" than normal, they all coped very well and lunch was thoroughly enjoyed. It was also a much awaited event as by 9.30 this morning, several of the children had already begun telling us how hungry they were and were trying to raid their lunch boxes early!
Following the list of requested toys that was compiled over the course of the home visits, the children have been confidently exploring a variety of activities during their first week at nursery. From washing babies, to constructing impressive train tracks to enthusiastically pedalling bikes through puddles, it has been a very busy introduction to nursery, as you will see from the photos below, and we look forward to the fun-packed weeks ahead!
