Primary School

From spots to models to flowers!

From sporting spots for Children in Need to building fantastic models to practising writing our names we have had a jam packed term and now Christmas is fast approaching, time sure does fly when you're having fun!

Lots of us wore lots of spots in honour of Pudsey Bear and Children in Need and we had lots of fun taking part in lots of Pudsey themed activities! The children even got to ice biscuits....and eat them!

Since then we have been building huge collaborative models using different construction toys, role playing in the post office and dog groomers (the latter as requested by the children!) and learning to write our names using the correct letter formation. More recently, we have been taking part in Christmas themed activities - the children loved helping to decorate our two Christmas trees and they look beautiful thanks to all those of you who kindly donated decorations for us.

We were also lucky enough to watch dress rehearsals for the Reception/Year 1 play as well as the Year 2 play and I know any of you lucky enough to watch them will know how fantastic they are. I was so incredibly proud of how smartly and sensibly the nursery children sat whilst watching these plays, a tall order for 3 and 4 year olds but they rose to the occasion with gusto and were commented on by a number of other teachers so well done Tadpoles!! As a special treat we all ate lunch together in the nursery base then went out to play!

Don't forget out nursery Christmas party on the 12th December, our trip  on the 15th and our sing-along (more details to follow) on the 19th, the fun isn't over yet!
