Brass and Woodwind Lessons

If your child would like to learn to play a musical instrument, here is some information for you.
The benefits of learning a musical instrument are countless. Apart from the sheer enjoyment of making music with other people, learning to play a musical instrument also benefits a young person academically, physically and emotionally and it also develops concentration, patience and determination. Thrapston Primary has always had an excellent reputation for music and this year there are still some places available for the following instruments:-
Woodwind - clarinet and flute (years 3,4, 5 & 6 ), saxophone (years 5 & 6).
Brass – cornet/trumpet, baritone and trombone (years 3,4, 5 & 6)
If you are interested in your child having instrumental lessons at school with a NMPAT teacher, email NMPAT at Lessons@NMPAT.co.ukwith the subject heading ‘want to learn’ and giving:
The name of your child
The school they attend
The instrument they would like to learn
…. and NMPAT will send you all the information you need to register for lessons.
Many thanks
