Compliments Day
This week, Thrapston Primary School children have taken part in a Compliments Day.
Children across the school have completed all sorts of activities to share compliments in different ways. E.g. Through art, computing, PSHE, English. The children received compliments from others in their class and tried to make a point of making people they saw today smile.
It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces around the school. It has been such a positive experience for the children and staff in school. A number of children commented on how good it made them feel to give a compliment to someone else. They also talked about how they feel positive too if someone around them is being positive.
Bully Busters and School Councillors also took time to write and deliver compliments to staff around the school.
The children have made compliments boxes for their classes so that they can now add a compliment at any time. Some classes are reading these each day and have added them to their confetti trees.
