The Early Years at Thrapston Primary School consists of both Nursery and Reception children. 

Our team work together to support your child through the Early Years Foundation Stage and further information on how we do this can be found below. 

A new EYFS framework was implemented in Sept 2021 - attached below.

To apply for a reception place:

From 8 September 2023, you have been able to make an application for a primary school place for September 2024 if your child has their 4th birthday between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2024.
You must apply through the North Northamptonshire government website.

The closing date for applications this year will be 15 January 2024.
If your child is in our school nursery, you still need to apply for a place.
