Thrapston

Primary School

We've nearly made it to SATs

This week we have been continuing to prepare for SATS. Therefore, Maths, SPaG and Reading have been our main subjects, since the beginning of term.

We were pleased to find out that the Year Six teachers have been busy at work, answering SATS papers, but we were horrified to realise that they got most of the answers wrong! We have been working hard to realise what they did wrong and correct their answers.

We have also done a few Reading and SPaG papers ourselves and have enjoyed revising all of the things we have learnt since being in KS2.

We have enjoyed analysing poems, that have the same theme, as well as reading some interesting texts.

In Maths, we are enjoying solving lots of mathematical problems and we are using the following link on a daily basis:

We have enjoyed our first few cricket lessons and are looking forward to when the weather is a bit nicer and we can play matches outside.
