What do you call a camel without a hump? Humphrey!
We had a wonderful week at Condover Hall! The children were fantastic ambassadors for Thrapston Primary School and the staff were all extremely proud.
With activities such as aerial trek, climbing, laser maze, abseiling and kayaking our pupils have proved that they can achieve whatever they set their minds to. Their sheer determination and enthusiasm was evident throughout the week.
The children enjoyed the delicious food and an opportunity to spend quality downtime with their friends. Watching them encourage and support their peers was a delight.
The children who did not come to Condover had an excellent week too. They worked hard on their projects about North America and a top secret project – more details to follow! They also demonstrated a fantastic attitude towards their work.
Although a little tired, this week we have written thank you letters and improved our long multiplication skills. In Science, we have studied Charles Darwin and adaptations of camels. Also, we all enjoyed taekwondo taster sessions and continuing to develop our tennis skills. Watch out for us at Wimbledon in the future!
The Year 6 Team would also like to thank parents for coming to the KS2 open morning – we hope you enjoyed reading your child’s work and looking at their learning so far.
