Our first week back has been a busy one.
Not only have we completed all of our usual lessons and activities, but we have also been conducting some science investigations. We have been looking at ice balloons and talking about reversible and irreversible changes, after we have added various things to the ice. Lots of lovely scientific observations were made by the children and they will be writing all about these investigations in their lessons next week.
We also enjoyed taking part in Skip to be Fit today. Some of us - especially Mrs Scowen - found it quite tricky! We all had fun though and the children all went home with a little reuseable pot of blueberries . The instructor was at pains to point out how good for you the blueberries were and expressed the hope that they would keep and reuse the pot for fruit snacks.
Your child should also have brought home a World Book Day voucher, so take advatage of the opportunity to get a free book. Any unwanted books will always be welcome at school!
