Autumn walk

As we have been thinking about autumn the last couple of weeks we went on an Autumn Walk to see what autumn treasures we could find!

We put on our coats, grabbed bags to carry our treasures in and set off up to the area around reception playground to see what we could find! The children were all absolutely fabulous, following instructions well, listening carefully to the adults and being excellent Autumn Detectives, I was so proud of each and every one of them! They enjoyed exploring the area and hunting through the undergrowth to find as many autumn objects as possible. These included autumn leaves of all different shapes, sizes and colours, acorns and Matthew even found a huge spider (much to his excitement and the utter fear of Mrs Foster!)

When the search was exhausted, we all enjoyed a lovely autumn themed story then headed back to Nursery to share our findings and have a well earned snack.

A great time was had by all!
